Moscow: The president of Cuba, Miguel Díaz-Canel Bermúdez, visited today the capital’s Cathedral of Christ the Savior, Prensa Latina publishes.

This visit allowed us to learn more about the history of Russia and its people, the president wrote in the visitor's book.

It also confirms the will to continue strengthening the already excellent relations that exist between Cuba and the Patriarchate of the Russian Orthodox Church, the head of state added.

The day before President Vladimir Putin, receiving his similar Cuban, said that bilateral contacts continue at the highest levels and permanently.
