Caracas_ The president of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro, maintains his position towards the United States Government on the supposed humanitarian aid, since they mounted a show to conceal intentions of domination and appropriate the riches of the South American country, Prensa Latina reports.

"What was sent by the president, Donald Trump, is neither help nor humanitarian”, the head of state stressed.

Maduro emphasized during an exchange with the delegates of the International Assembly of the Peoples, carried out these days in Caracas, that "the American magnate is not interested in the welfare of the nations of the world, and proof of this is the wall on the border with Mexico. '

If the head of the White House cared about citizenship, he would not send to persecute Latin American migrants and would give permanent visas to the millions of Americans living in countries of the region. Once again, Maduro exhorted Trump to mend his interventionist policy against Venezuela, which he described as a "failure inherited from the US ex-President Barack Obama”, the president emphasized.

'Venezuela has the right to peace. As president I have been willing and I am willing to a direct dialogue with Washington, to look for 21st century solutions as Americans, not solutions of the cold war”, the dignitary declared.

He also claimed to be a democrat and believe in a new type of socialism with the right to diversity of criteria and ideology.

"If it's about the peace of the Venezuelan people and the region, I'm willing to go where I have to go and shake hands with Donald Trump, always with respect”, Maduro added.

On the other hand, he thanked the demonstrations of solidarity shown in recent days by a large part of the international community, against the aggressions orchestrated by the local right with the consent of the White House, Colombia and other detractors of the Bolivarian Revolution.

"Thanks to all of you, the peoples of the world for your support, solidarity, integrity and commitment to Venezuela," he stressed.

At the end of the meeting with more than 400 delegates, Maduro said: the battle is not only for Venezuelan independence, but also against imperialism, for peace, the political, ideological and cultural diversity of world citizenship.
