Caracas_The military defeat by Venezuela's self-proclaimed president, Juan Guaido, who has not succeeded in getting support from the Bolivarian National Armed Force (FANB), was criticized by US Vice President Mike Pence, Prensa Latina reports.

The US official reproached the speaker of the National Assembly in contempt for his constant failures, after he was recognized as Venezuela's president in charge on January 23, actions that have not allowed justifying the military intervention designed by the White House.

The revelation was published on Wednesday on the Argentinean news website Politica Online, which reported that the criticism was made at the meeting of the self-styled Lima Group in Bogota, Colombia, on Monday.

According to the website, 'Pence made for President 'in charge' Juan Guaido a harsh diagnosis of everything that was failing in the offensive against the Chavista regime. The strongest criticism was the FANB's ongoing support for the legitimate president, Nicolas Maduro.

According to the website, Guaido had promised the US government that if the majority of the world leaders recognized him as the alleged president of Venezuela, at least half of the FANB officers would desert, but it did not happen.
