The president of the National Constituent Assembly (ANC) of Venezuela, Diosdado Cabello, today called on the revolutionary forces to promote a counter-offensive to defeat the aggressions of the United States (USA) and its "lackeys" on the right, Prensa Latina publishes.
During his usual program Con el Mazo dando, broadcast by Venezolana de Televisión, the head of the plenipotentiary body recalled the teachings of the Bolivarian leader Hugo Chávez (1954-2013), in order to promote an offensive that guarantees the consolidation of the Revolution.
The revolutionary process emerged strengthened from the attempted coup last April 30 by sectors of the opposition and a small group of military deserters, Cabello said.
In this sense, the first vice president of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela also highlighted the mobilization capacity of the popular forces, who went to the Miraflores Palace (headquarters of the Executive) to defend the constitutional order and show their support to the legitimate president, Nicolás Maduro.
The Socialist leader also reported on the arrest of Deputy Edgar Zambrano, linked to the attempted coup led by the self-proclaimed 'president in charge' Juan Guaidó and the opposition leader and fugitive from justice, Leopoldo López.
