Caracas: The Venezuelan extreme right ratifies its rejection of democracy, seeks to be imposed by violence and the criminal called for military intervention, the Vice President for Social and Territorial Socialism, Aristóbulo Istúriz, said.

Istúriz repudiated the recent letter sent to the head of the US Southern Command, Admiral Craig S. Faller, by Carlos Vecchio, representative to Washington of the opposition deputy Juan Guaidó, recognized by the White House as the "president in charge" of Venezuela, Prensa Latina reports.

'(...) the Interim Government thanks and receives the support of the United States (USA) and confirms our willingness to begin the respective talks on the cooperation that has been offered by its command,' Vecchio said in the letter. addressed to the North American military high command.

"Whoever feels Venezuelan should reject this surrendering and criminal attitude," the vice-president said.

The deputy of the National Constituent Assembly Hermann Escarrá pointed out that the letter sent to the US Southern Command to plan the invasion and occupation of the country expresses a deep contempt for the life and dignity of Venezuelans.

The letter constitutes a confession that the political factions promoting interventionism lack arguments to propose a solution to the country's problems through democratic and constitutional means, he added.

In Venezuela, unfortunately, there is a process in which a radical sector seeks the fragmentation of the State and the dissolution of the Republic, Escarrá added in statements to a private media, collected by Venezolana de Televisión.
