Santiago de Cuba: The beginning of the war of independence led by Carlos Manuel de Céspedes, on his 151st anniversary, is remembered today at Santa Ifigenia cemetery, in Santiago de Cuba, with a political act and military ceremony, Radio Reloj publishes.

Camilitos and cadets will be in charge of the honor guard before the tomb of the National Hero, José Martí and the deposit of the floral offerings in the Apostle's mausoleum.

For its part in the historic site Demajagua, in Manzanillo, today, with a cultural political act, the beginning of our libertarian struggles, 151 years ago, is evoked.

Neighbors of the place and representatives of Manzanillo, from different sectors, attend the tribute to the initiators of the Cuban Revolution, led by the Bayamés patrician, when the cards will be handed over to new members of the Party and the Young Communists League (UJC)
