Cuba Thanks Russia for its Unconditional Support in the Battle against the Blockade

Moscow_ The member of the Secretariat of the Communist Party of Cuba (PCC) and head of its Department of International Relations, José Ramón Balaguer Cabrera, thanked the unconditional solidarity of the Communist Party of the Russian Federation (PCFR) in the battle of the Cuban people against the economic, commercial and financial blockade imposed by the United States, according to the Granma newspaper's website.

In a fraternal meeting with Ivan Ivanovich Mielnikov, first vice-president of the CPRF and first vice-president of the State Duma, who received Balaguer in Moscow, the excellent relations of friendship, collaboration and solidarity between PCC and the CPRF were evaluated and they exchanged on the current international situation and the role of leftist forces in the battle for peace and social justice, especially in Europe and Latin America.

Balaguer invited the leadership of the CPRF to participate in the International Conference "For the balance of the world", which will take place in Havana in January 2019.

According to the official website of the Cuban Foreign Ministry, the member of the Secretariat of the Central Committee of the PCC met in that city with the Vice President of the Committee of International Relations of the State Duma or Lower House of Parliament, Irina Rodnina, meeting in which it was ratified the good progress of dialogue and collaboration between both parties.
