Viena_ Deputies representing leftist parties and forces from Latin America and Europe, demanded in Vienna the end of the US blockade against Cuba.
According to Radio Reloj, the document, entitled Declaration of the Left in Vienna, also welcomes the broad democratic process that is currently taking place in Cuba as part of the Popular Consultation on the Draft.
It is signed by the European Unitarian Left-Nordic Green Left, the Progressive Bank of Parlasur, and parliamentarians of the Left of Parlatino, Parlacen and Parlandino, gathered in the framework of the XI Euro-Latin American Parliamentary Assembly.
The declaration, the result of a broad debate involving legislators from Argentina, Cuba, Uruguay, Nicaragua, Spain, Portugal, and Ecuador, also includes the regional and international issues of greatest concern for the left.
