Washington_ Few hours before the United Nations debate on a resolution against the US blockade of Cuba, Uruguayan trade unionism reaffirmed its solidarity in support of the besieged Caribbean country.

 According to Cubadebate, the trade union center PIT-CNT brought together Cuban affiliates, activists and collaborators from the health sector, with the presence of Ambassador Héctor Fraginals de la Torre and other members of the diplomatic headquarters.

The participants witnessed the appearance before the press of Foreign Minister Bruno Rodríguez, in which he denounced in detail the maneuvers carried out by the US State Department to prevent, hinder and delay the condemnation received each year by the government of Washington at the UN.
