New York _ The General Assembly of the United Nations begins the working session on Wednesday, where they discuss the Cuban resolution on the need to end the economic, commercial and financial blockade imposed by the United States against Cuba.
According to Cubadebate, in the plenary of the General Assembly, the interventions of the different countries and groups are now being heard regarding the resolution presented by Cuba.
The Permanent Representative of Morocco, on behalf of the African group of countries, described the blockade as an unjustifiable fact and assured that the African nations ratify their full support for the resolution that demands its uprising.
"We think that a political solution, beneficial for both countries, can be found” he concluded.
The General Assembly is one of the principal bodies of the United Nations, the only one in which all the Member States (193 at present) are represented, each with one vote.
