Mayabeque, Cuba: Under the motto With the Helms Burton Act We Don't Understand each other, the young people of Madruga started a day to condemn the blockade of the United States against Cuba.

The intention is also to reaffirm the support for the Cuban Revolutionary Government that will once again present a resolution that expresses the need to end the hostile policy of the empire.

The day against the blockade imposed by the United States on Cuba six decades ago includes morning meetings in student and labor centers, workshops and an anti-imperialist tribune that will be the stage to express the sufferings and difficulties imposed on the Cuban people by this economic and financial commercial siege.

The conference will be extended until November 7, coinciding with the debate at the UN on the Cuban resolution that in recent years has had the support of the international community.

The youth of Madruga immersed in the activities of the Eleventh Congress will also take advantage of these days to promote economic and social programs with productive work, Yaremi Fundora, First Secretary of the Young Communists League in Madruga, told this reporter.
