Havana: Several voices and organizations of the world joined in the rejection of the activation, on May 2, of Title III and IV of the Helms-Burton Law against Cuba by the United States administration (USA), Prensa Latina publishes.
The Democratic Front for the Liberation of Palestine (FDLP) through a communique condemned the re-imposition of US sanctions and the blockade against the Island.
The current policy of the North American authorities aims to undermine the sovereignty of the largest Antillean Island and turn it into a country dependent on the United States, the FDLP assured.
The decision of the administration of the president, Donald Trump, to withdraw the measures adopted during the mandate of Barack Obama (2009 -2017) and re impose the sanctions against the Caribbean nation, are "aggressive and dangerous steps," they warned.
In that sense, the general secretary of the Communist Party of Sardinia, Italy, Davide Meloni, in an interview with the Cuban newspaper 'Trabajadores' said that this legislation is against the sovereignty and economic development of the island and its relations with the outside world.
