Mayabeque, Cuba: The workers of the Base Business Unit (UEB) Trade and Gastronomy in San Nicolás, strongly repudiate the activation of Title III of the Helms-Burton Law.

At the same time they condemn the North American government to obstruct the economic and financial relations of Cuba, making the development of the Island impossible.

"The Cuban people do not agree with this policy. They can’t take away from us what we achieved with so much sacrifice. We are a sovereign and free country”, the trade specialist, Alberto Martínez said.

"The application of this law is very unfair. In the municipality all units, mainly all the grocery stores are nationalized”, the director of the UEB, Enel Alonso Sardiñas said.

Unity will again be the way to achieve victory against the failed Helms-Burton Law. Cuba is of the Cubans.
