Havana_ Cuba is preparing the next April 19 for the installation of the IX Legislature of the National Assembly of People's Power (Parliament), action that concludes the general elections process, Prensa Latina reports .  

Havana_ The provincial assemblies will be constituted on Sunday with the swearing in ceremonies of the 1,265 delegates that were elected by Cuban voters last March 11. After taking office, they will choose, by secret ballot, the presidents and vice presidents of these bodies. 

The National Candidacy Commission will conclude this Friday the process of interviews and consultations with the deputies to the National Assembly of People's Power, who made their proposals for the new leadership of Parliament and members of the State Council. 

Havana_ A total of 7,399,891 voters, representing 85.65% of those eligible, exercised their right to vote in the March 11 general elections, according to the National Electoral Commission (CEN), in a report of final results.  

Havana_ Seven million 399 thousand 891 voters exercised the vote in the general elections in Cuba, this Sunday, a figure that represents 82, 90 percent of the register, Radio Havana Cuba publishes.
