Journalist: The Popular Council North of San José de las Lajas says present today during the election day in Cuba, where people will select the delegates to the Provincial Assembly and the deputies to the Cuban Parliament. 

Milady Hernández Martínez, worker of the Provincial Assembly in Mayabeque offers the details.

Journalist: At what time did you come to exercise your right to vote? How important is this process?

MHM: I got up very early, 7:00 a.m., to exercise my united vote. It is a reaffirmation as a patriot, because we all have this right in this free and sovereign country. I urge all Cubans to reaffirm once again the commitment to the Revolution, the Commander in Chief and Raúl Castro.

Journalist: This process is dedicated to Fidel Castro as an example and personality in our Island. It is important to paticipate and say yes for our independence, sovereignty, it is an act of confirmation to the Homeland.
