Cuban Men and Women demonstrate their commitment to the work of the Revolution and the legacy of Fidel, through the second stage of the general elections 2017-2018. On the subject, we spoke with Rodobaldo Milián Hernández, president of the Municipal Electoral Commission.
Journalist: How did the day begin in this municipality?
RMH: The 52 planned schools opened their doors at 7:00 a.m. and from that moment the voting began.
Journalist: How many people will exercise their right to vote in the locality?
RMH: We have a basic part that it amounts to 19,732 voters; during the day there will be inclusions that will increase the number at the end of the day.
Journalist: When will the second part be given?
RMH: It is scheduled for 9:00 in the morning according to the schedule, the third will be at 11:00, then at 2:00, another at 5:00 and the closing will be at 6:00 in the afternoon.
By free, equal and secret vote - according to the Electoral Law of 1992 - those registered in the voter registry will go to 24 thousand 470 authorized electoral colleges in the 168 municipalities of the country.
