Adaenis Díaz, journalist from San Jose de las Lajas is visiting the North Popular Council of the capital of Mayabeque

Journalist: Today, March 11 is a special day, a day of elections in Cuba, the elections of the delegates to the provincial assembly and the deputies to the national assembly, the second stage of this process.

To know how this process is going on in the North Council of San José de las Lajas, I am going to talk with Juan Carlos Arrieta Moliner, president of the electoral commission of circumscription 2 of the North Council, district that has two schools
How the process started this morning and how were the previous preparations.

JCAM: First, I have to point out the enthusiasm existing not only in the electoral commission of the constituency, but also in the polling stations, and in the electors. At seven in the morning both schools were ready, all the tables had their assurance, we made a political act of revolutionary reaffirmation, which is another example of the commitment we have with the country, with history.

"Also the representatives of the polling stations signed their oath, and at this time of the morning, the population has already come to exercise the vote, and we are working together with the mass organizations in the mobilization."

"The community has been adorned, people carried out voluntary work, the schools were ready yesterday before two in the afternoon, that is, we can breathe an air of collectivity, of political commitment, of revolutionary reaffirmation, something to which we are accustomed because our constituency has always been at the vanguard in our territory. "

This were the statements of Juan Carlos Arrieta Moliner, president of the electoral commission of constituency 2 of the North Council of San José de las Lajas, a district that has two polling stations, and which are currently working according to the election of the delegates to the provincial assembly and the deputies to the National Assembly (Parliament).
