Madruga, like the whole country is in elections. From very early in the morning, the people of this territory of Mayabeque attend in a massive way to choose its candidates. 

At 8 and 40 in the morning of this Sunday more than two thousand voters throughout the municipality had voted to elect the delegates to the provincial assembly and deputies to the National Assembly of People's Power, (Parliament).

Discipline is observed in the polling stations of the territory, decorated for the occasion with the national symbols, and especially the enthusiasm of the students of primary education as guardians of the polls.

They inform the voter of the voting procedure, and Patricia Almaguer Quesada is a high school student that has participated since she was in the 4th grade and says that "it is very important for the pioneers (schoolchildren) this task, we create values ​​and contribute to the electoral process, I always tell my classmates to participate, because we are useful to the Homeland and they have done so."

Almost 22 thousand voters of Madruga will say yes for Cuba, for the socialism and for the legacy of the historical leader of the Cuban Revolution, Fidel Castro Ruz.
