On August 13 we commemorate the 92nd anniversary of the birth of Fidel Castro Ruz, a man who transcends our borders.
Beyond his heroic battles and constant vigilance for the welfare of his people, Fidel cultivated a Latin American thought that awoke in him, the feeling of the people to get rid themselves from the ties of the exploratory political systems and to reach their demands.
His speeches and reflections towards our peoples of America were clear warnings about the interference of the neighbor of the north in their eagerness to expand their supremacy and take over the riches.
Fidel denounced those North American policies of annexation in all the tribunes.
His thought is today a guide for the peoples of the South, it is an incentive to improve societies. The examples legates by the leader of the Revolution augur the social changes of our America, inspired by Marti’s ideal.
Fidel's work is present and is a bulwark for our Latin American peoples.
Fidel unraveled the essence of neoliberal thought and its nefarious paradigms, he constantly denounced them and always warned that there would be no tranquility in imperialism before the democratic, revolutionary and socially oriented processes that had been brewing in Latin America and that today are being attacked in an intense way.
