The Cuban Revolution is the most transcendental work of our people and is a single one started in 1868 and that arrives firm and sovereign until today.

 

Today the President of the nation is a man trained in the school of Fidel, heir of his example and his legacy: Miguel Díaz-Canel Bermúdez.

 

Enduring the feat of continuing to make free and independent homeland, facing the harassment of the most powerful empire is his mission.

 

He has the support of all the people who respect him and admire him for his simplicity, capacity and willingness to give everything for the Revolution.

 

Being close to the Cubans, listening to them and attending to their requirements and wisdom is the premise of the government and a more than eloquent proof that it is a continuation of Fidel's legacy.

 

Díaz-Canel is the president that we Cubans want, that the people chose and supports so that the country moves forward. Cuba is that paradigm of dignity that the Nations admire and recognize and the voice of the president of the island rises with authority to ensure that Fidel is all of us who are willing to defend freedom at any cost.

 

The Cuban president is a follower of the ideas of Fidel, defender of the principles that he instilled in us and a complete revolutionary that is why the people follow him and respond to him.

 

On one occasion, in response to journalist Luis Báez, Fidel assured him that his main merit was to be alive.

 

Today that remains his main merit because he is alive among us. His ideas guide us, his example shows us the way and his courage gives us strength to face the new challenges. Fidel is in Díaz-Canel, nobody doubts it because he is continuity.
