It is approaching August 13 and as every year, we celebrate Fidel's birthday, this will be the first without the physical presence of the honoree.

The story wanted that 60 years after leaving the port of Tuxpan, Mexico, on the Granma yacht, Cubans experienced his departure towards immortality, today more than ever I understand that he will be an eternal man, because the ideas when they are fair, do not die.

In that November it was inevitable to feel pain, because Fidel, belongs to everyone and won the respect and admiration of his people and great part of the world.

We must remember our chief in present, because he lives in every child that attends his school, every patient who recovers in a hospital, every athlete who obtains a medal, every peasant who contributes in agriculture, every artist who provides his talent.

For those who had the privilege of knowing him, talking to him, feeling him close, it is difficult to forget his impressive stature, the softness of his hands, the simplicity in his eyes.

His concern about the simplest details, for everything went well.

He continues to be that rebel of the University, the Moncada, the Presidio, Sierra Maestra, Girón, the Crisis of October, the one of the war of Angola and other African countries, the one who assured that the Five Heroes would return and could see fulfilled his prophecy, the same who fought without rest for a child and made a whole people and much of the world understand the need to return him to their homeland.

That is the Fidel that I know, the one who always came first than the hurricanes, the one who accompanied the humble ones, who created scientific, educational, sports, cultural centers, who made a Revolution and continue to defend it.

On November 25, 1956, 60 years before his entry into immortality, he said: "If we go out, we will arrive, if we arrive, we enter, and if we enter, we will triumph." He not only went out, came, entered and triumphed, he also remains forever in the hearts of all those who had the privilege of living the time of Fidel Castro.
