Havana: The President of the Councils of State and Ministers, Miguel DÃaz-Canel Bermúdez, received on Friday afternoon the Director General of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA), His Excellency Mr. Yukiya Amano, who is in an official visit to Cuba, Radio Reloj publishes.
During the cordial meeting they discussed the excellent state of relations between that International Organization and our country, and exchanged about the favorable execution of cooperation projects and the potential for their strengthening.
The distinguished visitor was accompanied by the Director of Technical Cooperation for Latin America and the Caribbean of the IAEA, Luis Longoria, and the adviser to the Director General, Edgard Pérez.
On the Cuban side were Foreign Minister Bruno RodrÃguez and the Minister of Science, Technology and Environment, Elba Rosa Pérez.
