Havana: Cuban President Miguel Díaz-Canel said today that the United States (USA) commits a genocide against the people by preventing the arrival of ships with fuel to the Caribbean island, Prensa Latina publishes.
'The US government applies a brutal and genocidal policy of hardening the blockade and financial persecution and it also hinders the arrival of fuel to Cuba, 'Díaz-Canel wrote in his Twitter social network account.
"Our people resist and succeed," said the head of state of the Greater of the Antilles.
That Washington punishment policy fundamentally affects the transportations of food, workers and public transportation, and power generation during times of greatest demand, the Cuban dignitary recently reported.
'They are trying to prevent fuel from reaching Cuba, blackmail companies and freighters that negotiate with our country; the application of the Helms-Burton Act has intimidated and pressured”, the Cuban president said.
