Havana: The President of the Republic, Miguel Díaz-Canel Bermúdez, attended the Gala of the St. Petersburg Ballet at the Alicia Alonso Grand Theater in Havana, included in the program of activities carried out by the Russian city in honor of the anniversary 500 of the Cuban capital, Radio Reloj publishes.

Also present at the artistic presentation were the president of the National Assembly of Popular Power and the State Council, Esteban Lazo Hernández, and authorities of the Communist Party of Cuba and the Government in Havana.

The gala was held under the artistic direction of the soloist of the Mariinsky Theater, Yuri Smekálov, who performed during the evening in two of the works of the repertoire.

Outstanding groups such as the Mikhailovsky Theater, Mariinsky himself, as well as the Bolshoi of Moscow, arrive at the tables of the García Lorca Hall, represented through 10 dancers, as part of a cultural exchange between the two cities.
