Havana: The president of Cuba, Miguel Diaz-Canel, denounced late on Friday the harassment and mistreatment against Cuban doctors working in Bolivia, after the the coup against Evo Morales, Radio Reloj publishes.

Likewise, Díaz-Canel made a call to stop the exacerbation of irresponsible anti-Cuban expressions, and of hatred towards the Cuban cooperators, who give their solidarity contribution to the health of the Bolivian people.

The Cuban Foreign Ministry announced that on Wednesday, 4 members of the Cuban Medical Brigade were arrested by the police as they moved to their place of residence.

Due to these circumstances, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs reported that Cuba will immediately withdraw the members of the medical mission from Bolivia and demanded the release of the detainees, as well as the guarantee of their physical integrity.
