Mayabeque, Cuba_ Several social projects in San José de las Lajas have benefited with constructive actions, as part of the activities to celebrate the Day of the National Rebellion.

Public health and education are among the sectors favored by maintenance and rehabilitation.

"We have been working in a large group of schools, especially in the Pedro Soto Alba Primary School, in the community of Nazareno," according to María Elena Rodríguez Pérez, head of the Municipal Administration in the capital of Mayabeque.

"In the same way, they work in a group of educational institutions, such as: the Enrique Hart Mixed Center and the Roger Lima Seminternado. With the objective of starting the new school year with better conditions for students and teachers, “Rodríguez Pérez added.

The financing of these works is through the budget of the economy plan and the territorial contribution.

"In the health sector, it’s being repaired the Fabricio Ojeda Stomatology Clinic, facilities for new services," she said.
