Mayabeque, Cuba _ A campaign for the 35th anniversary of the creation of the Banco Popular de Ahorro (BPA), is carrying out the Territorial Direction Artemisa-Mayabeque to promote the culture of saving in the new generations and encourage the sense of belonging of the workers of the different branches.   

The day of celebration is on May 18 and as reported by Yanet Carmona Catalán, Communication and Marketing Manager of the institution, they have created the teaching interest circles Amiguitos del Ahorro in primary schools and hold meetings with entrepreneurs to greet that date.

On May 17 they will hold the central event in the Morro-Cabaña Military Historical Park with the participation of workers from all BPA branches in Artemisa and Mayabeque. At the appointment they will stimulate the founders who are still active.

During this week a representation pays tribute to the leader of the Cuban Revolution, Fidel Castro Ruz, in Santiago de Cuba, visits centers of historical interest and exchanges experiences with members of the guild in that province of the eastern region.

The slogan of the campaign for the 35th anniversary of the creation of BPA is: Committed to the Development, Together with the Cuban Family, Fulfilling Dreams and Walking towards the Future. These are the main premises of the first bank created by the Revolution.
