New York_ The United States ambassador to the United Nations, Nikki Haley, appeared yesterday in a demonstration against the government of Nicolás Maduro in front of the headquarters of the organization.

According to Cubadebate, Nikki harangued them not to lower their arms, while she descended from neutrality and diplomacy and insisted on looking rough and ordinary. "We will continue until Maduro is gone," she shouted.

No more than 100 people had gathered in Manhattan, even when they announced for days the call for protest.

Haley arrived at the UN headquarters, got out of a car, spoke for a couple of minutes and left. The Associated Press news agency affirms that she was separated from the crowd by barriers in a heavily guarded area.
