Mayabeque, Cuba: Workers of Radio Mayabeque visited sites of economic and social interest in the municipality of Batabanó, as part of the activities for the 49th anniversary of the station.

During the welcome activity, the main authorities of the territory presented the main achievements of the coastal municipality.

Among the centers visited were the agricultural and fishing companies Camilo Cienfuegos, the main economic lines of the town, as well as the Furniture and Miscellaneous Articles Business Unit, SIGNO.

In the latter, according to its Director General, Yoani Guerra Oquendo, at the end of the first quarter of the year, the workers has complied with all the accounting indicators, mainly sales to tourism.

One of the motivations that the workers of this company have is the payment of the thirteenth month, the distribution of profits to the workers as a stimulus for economic efficiency, and that is included in the voluntary reserves that, according to the law, can be created to starting from the utilities after tax.

This entity has a direct delegate to the XXI to the Congress of the Cuban Workers Federation (CTC), the general secretary of the Trade Union Bureau, Yuliet Mora González, with countless recognition for her uninterrupted work at the vanguard of her collective of workers.

The Movement of Innovators and Rationalizers of Mayabeque has in that UEB one of its most consecrated affiliates, Oscar Alonso Suárez, the only mechanic of the entity, member of the ANIR for more than 30 years. His latest invention was a sponge cutting machine.
