Peru_ Presidents and heads of government of six countries of America have already arrived in Lima to participate in the VIII Summit of the Americas, which is celebrated this Friday and Saturday and where the central theme will be democratic governance against corruption, Cubadebate publishes.
The first to arrive was the president of the Dominican Republic, Danilo Medina. Then Ecuadoran President Lenin Moreno landed, although hours later he returned to Ecuador after the publication of some photographs in Colombia that would show the bodies of three Ecuadorian journalists who were kidnapped by FARC dissidents.
Andrew Holness, Prime Minister of Jamaica; Juan Orlando Hernández, president of Honduras; Evo Morales, president of Bolivia; Justin Trudeau, Prime Minister of Canada; and Jovenel Moise, president of Haiti are also in Lima.
