Mayabeque, Cuba_ The tabloid with the Cuban Constitutional Reform Project, was sold in a few hours which demonstrates the interest of the people of Batabanó for the proposals, valuations and subsequent approval of the document through popular consultation.

When exchanging with citizens who walked through the streets of the coastal locality we obtained the following criteria: Armando García, a worker of the communications sector, said: "I consider this is one of the most democratic projects we have lived, superior to that of any other country in the world, there is no Constitution like ours that is going to be submitted to the popular referendum, then it will be re-analyzed in the parliament and finally it will be taken to the popular referendum ".

"The people will be a fundamental actor prior to the final approval of the constitutional project. The Constitution proposal itself, perhaps that’s why the tabloids have run out, has a series of novel aspects of close connection to the life of Cuban society", the director of the Combinado Pesquero Camilo Cienfuegos Alberto Moltalvo, argued.

Marta Echeverría, who works in the culture sector, said that as the project was discussed in the National Assembly, it generated a lot of interest in the families gathered at home. The circulation of the material must be permanent until it meets the demand of the people, which will imply better preparation and more accurate criteria when it comes to valuations".

In opinion of Adrián Bárcenas, doctor, the most correct thing is what is been doing, first the debate in Parliament with the presence of people with a high level of knowledge in these matters and the criteria of the population that is also wise. The Constitution is the Law of Laws, hence the importance that the project is analyzed by the people. I also consider that it responds to the historical context, a clear example of the openness that the Revolution makes, an example of democracy and civic culture of this people.

Army General Raúl Castro Ruz highlighted the importance and priority of the construction reform for the Cuban Revolution.
