Mayabeque, Cuba_ The workers of the Porfirio Ruíz Seco Refreshment Factory in Madruga, will begin next Monday, August 13, the popular consultation of the draft constitution that will run until November 15.

Members of the Commission created in the territory to attend the process told the press that everything is ready to carry out the 305 meetings in labor and student centers and at the level of constituencies.

To this end, 18 pairs were trained, who will conduct the process at the base with the support of the Union of Jurists and local authorities.

To receive the proposals of the population, two operating teams were set up, in charge of issuing the daily reports to the province about the consultation of the constitutional project. Once again it is present the participatory democracy of our political system in which the people have a voice and exercise a real role of government.

The proposed new Constitution tempered by today's Cuban reality, provides the legal basis to support the changes the nation is facing and reaffirm the Socialist character of our political, economic and social system.

The tabloids with the draft Constitution are on sale in the locality to facilitate its study and ensure the quality of the debates.

About 20 thousand residents will be able to issue their criteria as part of the consultation, where everyone has the right to be part of the efforts to give continuity to a Revolution that opened the way to freedom, social justice and the welfare of the people.
