Mayabeque, Cuba_ The consultation process of the Draft Constitution of the Republic of Cuba continues in Mayabeque, as an exercise of democracy, where the people have the opportunity, once again, to govern and perfect our socialist economic and social development model .

The Provincial Direction of Collective Law Offices of this demarcation recently analyzed the project of the Law of laws. Nelson García, lawyer of this entity, highlighted the democratic nature of this process.

According to the president of the National Assembly of People's Power of Cuba, Esteban Lazo Hernández, six months after the constitutional reform process underway in the country until November 15 of this year, the first task of the Legislative Power should be to prepare a new Electoral Law.

Once the debates are over, the document will return to the National Assembly, whose deputies will take into account the proposals of the population to prepare the version that will be submitted to a referendum.

This last moment, in which Cubans will finally rule on the Magna Carta, is scheduled for the end of February 2019.
