Caracas: The Venezuelan Government maintains today the disposition to defend the peace and sovereignty of the country through political dialogue with opposition sectors, a process to destabilize from the United States (US), according to the authorities denounced.
President Nicolás Maduro thanked the representatives of the right for holding the talks on the eve through the mechanism sponsored by the Norwegian authorities, Prensa Latina publishes.
'I thank the Venezuelan opposition that is still in the political dialogue through the Oslo mechanism. I reiterate my willingness to remain, despite any circumstance, at the dialogue table to find solutions that guarantee the peace and prosperity of the country”, the president wrote on the social network Twitter.
In this regard, the Minister of Communication and Information, Jorge Rodríguez, highlighted on the digital platform that "whatever happens the delegation that represents President @ NicolasMaduro stays at the dialogue tables to find solutions for the country," he wrote.
Likewise, the Minister of Communication and Information, Jorge Rodríguez published a statement issued by the Norwegian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the guarantor of the exchanges, in which they notified the continuity of the process initiated in Oslo.
The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Norway, Ine Eriksen, called on those who can contribute with the good outcome of the dialogues to give the necessary space to the representatives so that the process moves forward in a constructive environment.
In that line of message, before the new threats of Washington to impose a naval blockade against Venezuela, the Venezuelan head of state instructed the ambassador of the South American nation to the United Nations, Samuel Moncada, to denounce in the Security Council of the Organization of the United Nations the new asphyxiation mechanism against Venezuelans.
"The United States criminalizes the purchase of fundamental foods for the support of six million Venezuelan families, with the aim of trying to manufacture a famine scenario in Venezuelan territory," Moncada said.
For his part, Foreign Minister Jorge Arreaza urged the international community and the United Nations on Friday to neutralize the White House's threats to impose a naval blockade and 'quarantine' against the Bolivarian nation.
