Havana, Cuba_ The First Secretary of the Communist Party of Cuba, Raul Castro, presents the central report to the Seventh Congress, being held at the Convention Palace in Havana, the digital site of Radio Reloj publishes.

"We arrived at the Congress with the presentation of four major projects ruling documents, which will set the course of the revolutionary process in the country", Raul Castro said.

He also mentions the economic assessment from 2011 to 2018, which includes the analysis of the results of the Guidelines for the Economic and Social Policy of the Party and the Revolution and its updating, from this year until 2021.

In addition, the First Secretary of the Party, referred to the National Plan for Economic and Social Development until 2030, as a proposal in function of the nation’s progress.

Raul Castro said that the third project is aimed at the conceptualization of the economic and social model, while the fourth refers to the work of the Communist Party of Cuba in these guidelines.

The Cuban president stressed that these programs will set the course of the Cuban revolutionary process, the Party and the society in building a prosperous and sustainable socialism.

He warned that the ruling documents are the result of discussions and a collective elaboration, with the participation of university professionals, academics and other officials.

He also explained that this will not be a work focused with static and dogmatic prisms; it will be subject of periodic evaluations, with the aim of achieving the economic and social model for the country.
