Brasilia_ There are no doubts about Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva's presidential candidacy, because the ex-president himself made it clear, Prensa Latina publishes.
I am a candidate until truth appears and the media, judges and prosecutors show the crime that was committed or stop lying, Lula noted yesterday in a letter to the national president of the Workers' Party (PT), Senator Gleisi Hoffmann.
In the letter, the PT founder and historic leader said that he knew that Hoffmann has been attacked and that he also knew the political reasons that move those who do not want him to be the president again.
He added that his accusers, the prosecutors, the judge (Sergio Moro), the TRF-4 (Appeals Court of Porto Alegre) and the majority of the people know that he is innocent.
If I accepted the idea of not being a candidate, 'I would be assuming that I committed a crime, and I committed none,' said Lula, who noted that citizens deserve respect.
'The people have the right to a dignified life. Therefore, we want a society without privileges for anyone, but with rights for everyone,' he underlined.
