Mayabeque, Cuba_ The inhabitants of Quivicán from early hours are immersed in the vote that will endorse the new Constitution.

According to the president of the Electoral Commission, Luis Áreas Verdecia, the 53 schools are ready and with all the qualified personnel for the process.

"The ballot boxes have already been reviewed, conditions and communications are created to exercise the vote," Áreas Verdecia asserted.The new Magna Carta includes changes in the structure of the State, extends rights and individual guarantees and recognizes private property, among other several forms.

This February 24, historical date that marks the resumption of our independence struggles, is a favorable moment for the active, responsible and direct participation of Cuban citizens, because to exercise the right to vote is a way of expressing ourselves and manifesting our commitment to the independent, sovereign and socialist present and future of our nation.
