Mayabeque, Cuba: The results of a diagnostic test of Cuban History, applied to twelfth grade students of the Captain San Luis High School, in Jaruco, with a view to assessing their preparation to face the upcoming entrance exams to Higher Education, were rated as unfavorable.
The professor of the specialty in that educational institution, Abel Gómez Pérez, said that the low grades show the disinterest of the students, despite the intensity of the reviews, individual consultations and tele-classes.
The director of the specialty in Jaruco High School, Lic. Carlos González Torres, announced for this Tuesday, September 22, the “diagnostic test of Mathematics”.
He explained that this strategy allows self-evaluation and diagnosis of difficulties that could affect the final results of the University entrance exams, scheduled in the first call, for October 9, 13 and 16, in Mayabeque.
A “Spanish diagnostic test” will also be applied, the date of which is still to be specified.
The pedagogical staff of the Jaruco’s High School reinforces the consolidations with the 91 students who will take the exams, whose will and systematic independent study depend, to a large extent, to fulfill their aspirations to achieve a university career.
