Mayabeque, Cuba: In the province of Mayabeque, the number of positive cases for Covid-19 rises, yesterday it reported 418 patients, according to the report issued by the Ministry of Public Health (MINSAP) of Cuba.
The municipality of Jaruco increased the number of infected with a total of 72 patients, while Nueva Paz and San Nicolás have 66 diagnosed with the virus; Santa Cruz del Norte: 54, San José de Las Lajas: 49, Quivicán: 33 and Melena del Sur: 27.
The city of Bejucal registers 23 positive samples for Covid-19, Güines: 13, Madruga: 8 and Batabanó: 7.
According to the press conference of Doctor Francisco Durán, 12 infected do not require a source of infection and the rest are contacts of confirmed cases.
On the day, 85 deceased patients were reported in Cuba, three of them are from Mayabeque, from Bejucal, Batabanó and San José de las Lajas. We deeply regret what happened and convey our condolences to his family and friends.
