Havana, Cuba: Bolivian President Luis Arce will make an official visit to Cuba today, after participating the day before in the XX Summit of the Bolivarian Alliance for the Peoples of Our America-Peoples’ Trade Treaty (ALBA-TCP), publishes Prensa Latina.

Early in the morning, Arce will visit the Center for Genetic Engineering and Biotechnology (CIGB), where innovative drugs are produced, including the Abdala vaccine, against Covid-19.

The Bolivian president will pay tribute this Wednesday to the National Hero of Cuba, José Martí, before the immense marble sculpture that perpetuates him in front of the Plaza de la Revolución in this capital.

He will then be received by President Miguel Díaz-Canel at the State Council building, where the official talks between delegations from both countries will take place.

In the afternoon Luis Arce will meet with the president of the National Assembly of People’s Power (parliament), Esteban Lazo, in the national Capitolio.
