Cuba: The Attorney General’s Office of the Republic of Cuba today celebrated the 48th anniversary of its foundation with recognition to its workers, immersed in a process of legislative reforms, Radio Habana Cuba reports.
In the cultural political act, held in the Charles Chaplin room in Havana, commemorative stamps were handed out to those who have been in their ranks for between 10 and 40 years, in defense of legality and the Revolution.
Among those distinguished for the three decades of work in that state body were the Attorney General, Yamila Peña, and José Luis Toledo, president of the Constitutional and Legal Affairs Commission of the National Assembly of People’s Power (Parliament).
The chief prosecutor of the department of the Directorate of Paintings of the FGR, Liuba García, who completed 25 years of service, expressed to the press the pride of belonging to that body that is characterized by humanism, sensitivity and adherence to the Law , depending on the welfare and safety of the population.
