China: Chinese President Xi Jinping stressed the importance of strengthening cooperation with Russia in the fields of high technology, research and development of vaccines and medicines, for the benefit of both nations, Radio Reloj reports.
During a telephone conversation with the Russian president, Vladimir Putin, Xi assured that Beijing is willing to continue collaborating with Moscow to preserve their respective sovereignty, security and common interests, showing a firm rejection of external sabotage and intervention in internal affairs of each nation.
Both leaders highlighted the high level of bilateral strategic cooperation, which lately manifested itself in mutual aid during the Covid-19 pandemic.
In addition, they promised to continue with large projects in the areas of hydrocarbon supply, atomic energy for peaceful uses, and civil aeronautics.
