United States: The United States Supreme Court ruled today that a New York prosecutor has the right to see President Donald Trump’s private and commercial financial records, Radio Reloj reports.
According to US media, the move ends an intense legal battle waged by the president to keep his earnings a secret, and the court will also rule on orders issued by congressional committees for a greater variety of Trump’s financial records.
The highest court was due to speak Thursday if congressional committees and a New York prosecutor had the right to review Trump’s personal financial records, something the president has tried to prevent.
The court reported that it will issue the latest opinions from his current period of work, for which they will investigate data from the ruler, which includes his tax returns.
