Mayabeque, Cuba: To keep us informed and alert about the evolution and trajectory of the tropical cyclone Isaías, formed as a storm in the South of the Eastern Caribbean Sea, called the Provincial Defense Council (CDP by its Spanish initials) in Mayabeque.
In the meetings of this body that are carried out daily the authorities of the CDP analyze, among other topics, the epidemiological situation of the territory in the confrontation and control of the new coronavirus.
The Defense Council in Mayabeque analyzed the forecasts for heavy rains and storm surges in the eastern north, according to the Meteorological Institute and the possible trajectory of Isaías during the day when it extends to the rest of the eastern north coast, with light coastal floods to moderate in low areas of that coastline.
The Council congratulated the Civil Defense System whose foundation took place on July 31, 1962, an institution that has devoted its 58 years of work to protecting human and material property, as well as the environment.
