Mayabeque, Cuba: Since the day before and in view of the imminence of the climatological impact of tropical storm Laura in the national territory, the actions of the Municipal Defense Council of Melena del Sur began.
Together with other factors in the locality, such as the Directorate of Transportation and the Ministry of the Interior, they carry out the evacuation task at Mayabeque Beach, one of the most vulnerable points in that territory.
In this work, the disposition and discipline of the vacationists stand out when faced with the indication of interrupting their vacation stay and returning to their homes due to the possibility of penetrations from the sea as a result of the passage through the territory of tropical storm Laura.
