Agradece Cuba donación de ciudad china para combatir la COVID-19.

Cuba: The Cuban ambassador to China, Carlos Pereira Hernández, thanked the municipality of Chongqing for its donation of lung ventilators in support of the confrontation with COVID-19, Radio Reloj reports.

In the Twitter account of the Island’s embassy in that Asian country, the diplomat highlighted the reception by Zhang Yongwu, director general of the Foreign Affairs Office in that huge region.

Pereira Hernández’s visit to that town is a propitious opportunity to exchange with local businessmen and present the opportunities for cooperation between both parties, according to the Cuban embassy in China.

Since the beginning of the COVID-19 epidemic in the Caribbean nation, the government of Beijing has donated equipment and medical supplies to face the new disease; collaboration with other Latin American countries and sustained exchanges on best practices for prevention and treatment are added to this.
