Havana: The president of Cuba, Miguel Díaz-Canel, reiterated the call for social responsibility to reduce the cases of Covid-19, mainly in the capital, Prensa Latina publishes.
Through his Twitter account, the president shared a summary of the meeting held the day before between the main government officials to analyze the outbreak of the pandemic in the west of the country.
At the meeting, the highest authorities of the executive recognized the need to increase the perception of risk and accelerate the entry of confirmed cases with Covid-19 in Cuba as essential elements for the control of the disease.
For his part, the governor of the capital, Reinaldo García, announced that the conditions are already being prepared to implement new measures in the city on September 1, which are designed, above all, to limit mobility.
