Mayabeque, Cuba: The expansion of the external plant of the Cuban Telecommunications Company (ETECSA) in the municipality of San Nicolás, is progressing after some interruptions caused by the current epidemiological situation.
The investment specialist for the Exterior Plant of Mayabeque, engineer Ramón Palenzuela, in charge of the work, explained: ?We finished the Sabana area, it is ready to begin the commercialization process and we are finishing the western area, which means a distribution of 400 more pairs?.
At the end of this work, the brigades will begin the installation of pairs in the Llega y Pon area. There they plan to do it in two parts. One would be that closest to 55th Street where 400 pairs will be located.
Despite the limitations that threaten the completion of the task, the workers put all their efforts to complete the outside plant before the end of 2020 in order to commercialize new fixed telephony services.
