Mayabeque, Cuba: Humus worm is produced in the municipality of Bejucal with certified quality for the Agricultural Companies from different provinces of the country.
The local farmer, Iván Morejón Rosquete, belonging to the Credit and Service Cooperative Félix González, is the largest producer of the fertilizer in the locality.
With this organic and ecological fertilizer, he maintains a productive chain for its crops and at the same time guarantees several tons for several Agricultural Companies.
He also allocates its productions to the Tabanco Research Institute located in San Antonio de los Baños. The Agricultural Director of the entity, Pablo Jardines Romero, described the worm humus as optimal for the tobacco plant.
