Mayabeque, Cuba: Workers of the Base Business Unit (UEB) of Aqueduct and Sewerage, in Güines, are working on the rehabilitation of 700 kilometers of the hydraulic network in this Mayabeque territory.
To date, they have restored some 300 kilometers, to increase the supply of water to the population and improve the quality of this vital liquid for life.
In this way, they expand the service, the interconnection of the systems that allow adapting the distribution cycles, as well as the detection of alternative supply sources and recharge possibilities.
“We have all the corresponding resources, a hydrometric sector will be carried out with the aim of facilitating the supply of water to the citizens of the municipality?, the UEB director Marcos Alcántaras commented.
